Description:You will learn how to make a fence.

Terms of use: You are welcome to use your finished product how ever you like but please don't copy anything from this site and call it your own.

Step 1
Open a new image 200x200 with a white background.
Turn on your grid and zoom in 800%.
Add a new layer and call it fence outline.
Pixel the outline for one post using color 1.

The sides are 72 pixels long.

Step 2
Add a new layer for the fill.
Use colors 1-5 to fill in the post.
You can refer to my examples in the supplies.
Zoom in 800% so you can see where I placed each color.
Save when you've finished filling in the post.
Turn off the background layer and merge visible.
Rename this post.

Step 3
Add a new layer.
Using black, pixel a 3x3 square around the top of the post and a 3x3 square near the bottom.
The top square will be 22 pixels down from the top of the post and the bottom square, 22 pixels up from the bottom.

If the background layer is turned on, turn it off and merge visible.
Rename this layer post.

Step 4
Duplicate the post layer 4 times and arrange the post so there's 7 pixels in between each post.
Turn off your background layer and merge visible.
Call this fence post.

Step 5
Add a new layer under the fence post layer and call it horizontal top post.
Pixel a rectangle 13 pixels down and 77 pixels across.
I numbered my guide to show you how many pixels you need to count down to start the post.
The blue and the red pixels show the horizontal post.
It also shows the placement for the bottom post but that will be a duplicate of the top post once you've filled it.

Step 6
Add a new layer for the fill.
Use colors 2-5 to fill in the horizontal post.
Use my examples for a guide like you did in step 2.
Turn off the background layer and merge visible.
Duplicate this layer and place it near the bottom of the fence using the guide in step 5.

Step 7
Delete the background layer and merge visible.
Export to picture tube and export to the gif optimizer.
