Pumpkin Tile
We will be making the pumpkin tile on this page.
You will need to have psp and a good working knowledge of the program
in order to do this tutorial
plus the pumpkin if you want to add it to a square.
Open the pumpkin in Jasc Animation shop and export it to PSP.
I used PSP X2 but you should be able to do this with earlier versions.

Open a new transparent canvass, 54x54.
Pick two colors for your square, one dark and one light.
I used #ad9c71 for my dark color and #f1eacd for the light color.
Zoom in 800% so you can see what you're doing and turn on your grid
with the pixels set to 1.
Use your selection tool set to custom with these settings:
Top 0
Left 0
Right 27
Bottom 27
Flood fill the selection using your light color.
Keep the selection floating and set your airbrush to these settings.
Shape-square
Size-27
Hardness-12
Step-14
Density-11
Opacity-36
Spray paint in the center of your square, using the darker color,
about 6 times.
Deselect.
Set your paintbrush to these settings which are settings I use when
I pixel.
Size-1
Hardness-100
Step-1
Density-100
Thickness-100
Opacity-100
Using your darker color and starting at coordinate 1x1 which should
be the second square in from the left
and second square down, start pixeling around the outside of your square
painting two pixels at a time
and leaving one pixel in between each set of two.
You should also have one row of your lighter color around the edges.
Add a new layer.
Copy and paste the pumpkin as a new selection, into the center of your
square.
Select none.
Merge visible.
Duplicate this layer and using your move tool, move the square to the
bottom right of the canvass.
Merge visible.
Now might be a good time to save if you haven't already.
Using your magic wand, select in one of the empty squares.
Add a new layer.
Floodfill with your darker color.
Keep the square selected and airbrush it using the same settings as
before and the same amount of times
but use the lighter color.
Select none.
Set your paintbrush to the same pixel settings as above and pixel around
the square
using the same two pixel together method and one pixel space in between.
Be sure you've left a border around the outside of these pixels with
the dark background color.
Duplicate this layer.
Image mirror.
Image Flip.
Merge visible.
Save as a jpg.
That's it.
